Course Outline

This three day session is ideal for all those who need to shoot and edit good quality web video. It looks at the best techniques for shooting in DV & HDV, editing in Final Cut Pro or Avid and applying simple but effective compression to produce great looking video and audio. Based around the Sony Z1, the course will teach the particular production requirements for video and sound for the web, demonstrating though practical exercises how to use a non-linear editing package to quickly produce effective edits, and to competently encode and stream audio and video for the web.
