SIA Training Course

Course review:

The SIA has developed a competency (skills) requirement. The aim of this is to create a more competent and professional workforce, which will in turn improve the public image of the private security industry and help make the sector more attractive to potential employees.

SSG deliver a number of security courses on a variety of different topics. These are:

Level 2 Award in CCTV Operations (Public Space Surveillance)- This award provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as CCTV Operative and consists of 3 units.

Level 2 Award in Door Supervision- This award provides the necessary skills and knowledge for learners who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Door Supervisor or within the private security industry and consists of 4 units.

Level 2 Award in Security Guarding- This award provides the necessary knowledge and understanding for those who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a security guard within the private security industry and consists of 3 units.
