About the course : This intermediate level course provides the opportunity to develop skills and theoretical knowledge required to be a carpenter.

Course content :
Safe working practices in construction
Information, quantities and communicating with others
Building methods and construction technology
Carrying out first fixing operations
Carrying out second fixing operations
Erection of structural carcassing
Carrying out maintenance
Setting up and operating a circular saw

After this course : Level 3 course or employment. For the part-time options you should be self-employed or be working in this area.
