Sketching Interior Spaces Part 1 (short course)

This course aims to build on your confidence when sketching interior spaces through periods of observation and demonstrate the use of a sketchbook for personal communication and visual research. A range of essential drawing media, skills and mark-making techniques will be introduced so that you can begin to develop a personal visual language. It will give you the opportunity to: visit some of London’s major galleries and museum spaces and sketch live interior situations through periods of observations. begin to use sketch drawing media and techniques effectively to document the importance of light, form, texture in defining spatial qualities. develop your confidence in the use of drawing as a means to explore and express a personal visual language. foster the keeping of a sketchbook as good practice.
