About the course
This level is for students who have some previous knowledge of soft furnishings, having attended beginner†s courses or previous improvers†course. This course will enable students to expand their knowledge of measuring, calculate fabric, cutting fabrics and learning new techniques. As a group the techniques learned will be used to produce an item of Soft Furnishings (to be discussed in the first week of course).

You will need to provide all your own fabrics, and will need a basic sewing kit of tape measure, scissors, thread, pins, needles.

After this course
Soft Furnishing Intermediate, Patchwork & Quilting Intermediate or City & Guilds Certificate in Soft Furnishing.

You are required to attend a short interview for this course. Please come in to the relevant centre between the following times:

Open Enrolment: Wednesday 6th - Friday 8th January: 10.00am - 3.00pm
Evening: Thursday 7th January: 5.00pm - 7.00pm

Open Enrolment: Monday 11th - Thursday 14th January: 10.00am - 3.00pm
Evening: Tuesday 12th and Thursday 14th January: 5.00pm - 7.00pm
