What will I study?
You will study a combination of subjects for the Principal Learning including areas of sports business, sports media, healthy lifestyle, customer service and equality and diversity in sport.

Duration:
One year

Do I need any additional qualifications/ skills?
For the Additional and Specialist Learning element of this Diploma you will study a coaching qualification and another BTEC Level 2 sport-related programme. You will also be required to undertake a minimum of 10 days work placement in an appropriate setting, which will organised by the College.

How will I be assessed?
The Higher Diploma combines practical work with theory and analysis. Students will be assessed on their ability to reflect on their own learning and to present their own work through a variety of forms including presenting a seminar, writing reports and through practical assessment plus a project. Some units will be externally assessed by the awarding body.
