Progression
A high percentage (average 75%) of students enter Higher Education. These students progress to some of the most prestigious and popular universities such as: Leeds Metropolitan University, Liverpool John Moores, Lincoln University, Brighton University and Huddersfield University to name but a few. Students generally study a range of sport related degrees, including Sports Development, Physical Education and Sports Coaching, Sports Therapy, Sports Management and Sports Journalism etc. However, students have opted to specialise in subjects outside of the traditional sporting field and have studied a diverse range of pathways from Outdoor Education to International Hospitality and Business Management. Alternatively, some students choose to enter the Sport, Leisure, Health and/or Fitness sector to commence their careers with a variety of local and regional employers. These might include: Fitness Instructor, Leisure Operative, Sports Administration or Development, Community Sports Coaching, Activity Leadership etc.
