How will I study?
Can you run 100m in 9.52secs? Have you ever wondered how Mo Farah's body has adapted to allow him to run long distances? Units such as Physiology of Fitness, Fitness Testing, Fitness Training and Sport Psychology will allow you to find the answers. Ever wondered how David Beckham scores 'those' free kicks? The study of Biomechanics will assist you! There are 9 units that are focused on the study of sport as a science.
How will I be taught?
Are you a practically based person? This course will provide you the opportunity to learn in a variety of methods. How about studying your topics in a lab with relevant equipment? Do you enjoy fitness and training? Are you capable of independent research?
How will I be assessed?
This course is all coursework based. This does not mean life on a computer. How about improving your presentation skills, artistic flair and practical demonstration. A choice of methods that cater for your strengths.
