Course Content: A part time course covering different topics, including sports massage, health and safety, first aid, employment standards, anatomy and physiology and fitness and sport therapies

Special Features: Although this is a classroom based subject some home based research may be required. This level 2 certificate consists of 6 mandatory units:

* Support health, safety and security in the workplace

* Support employment standards

* Provide emergency first aid in the workplace

* Exhibit knowledge of elementary anatomy & physiology

* Introduce the client to fitness and sports therapies

* Provide support for the sports and fitness therapist.

Course Format: This is a competency-based course with a high practical input although a number of written tests and assignments will be completed throughout the course. The course also has multiple choice end exams for each unit.

Progression: You can progress to VTCT Level 3 Sports Massage, National Diploma in Sports Science, HNC and HND in Sports Therapy
