Why should I come to Pendleton College?

What will I study?
There are eight specialised modules which must be covered within the year. These are:
- Starting Work in Sport and Leisure
- Working in Sport and Leisure
- The Healthy Body
- Personal Effectiveness
- Social Responsibility
- Organising a Sport/Leisure Event
- Issues in Sport and Leisure
- Taking Part in Sport
What will I achieve?
Employment in the sports and leisure industry, or progression to a higher level sport-related course.
How is the course assessed?
The course is assessed via assignment work, which is marked and graded by the staff at the college whilst one assignment is externally marked. The assignments build toward a portfolio of evidence showing full coverage of all outcomes needed.
What else will I do?
You may have the opportunity to visit a number of places such as Bolton Arena, Manchester United Football Club and Granada Studios (Question of Sport). There are also visits to New York and Club La Santa in Lanzarote.
