"The stage manager is the person in charge of setting up a show and has a thorough knowledge of all the technical roles of the company (lighting, sound, stage, entrance and exit of the actors). The stage manager is trained during the two-year specialist course in Scenography and Spattacolo Technologies of the Academy of Fine Arts of Brescia SantaGiulia and is in charge of the artistic-technical activity that takes place in the theater, of the concert with the direction and musical direction (in the case of opera) and choreography (in the case of ballet).
