What will I learn?
This course is fun, informal, and easy-to-understand. It shows newcomers to IT the very basics of computing from learning how to switch on a computer, use a mouse, to exploring the internet for the latest weather updates and holiday bargains. The three topics covered include producing documents and posters, searching the internet for information and communicating information using ICT (email).

How will I be taught?
This course is taught in a classroom using varied teaching and learning techniques. You will have a mixture of group activities and discussions.

How will I be assessed?
Your progress will be continuously assessed throughout the course. There will also be a City & Guilds set assignment.

What could I do next?
You could progress to an E Quals Level 1 course.
