What will the course cover?

This course has been developed for beauty and holistic therapists and nail technicians who wish to start their own business whether from home, mobile or in a salon. The course covers all the essentials of starting up your own business as well as a guide to marketing the business. The course comprises of fourteen modules.

How do I start the course?

When you have paid for your course you will receive an email from the Guild to activate your course. Once the course has been activated you will have access to all 14 course modules. Following each course module you will take an online examination which requires a pass rate of around 70%. If you fail a module you will have the option to re-take the examination twice. If you fail the module 3 times you will be contacted by the tutor who will offer you support before you make a final attempt

Do I need anything special on my computer?

You will need to have a modern web browser and speakers or headphones. The course modules may not work on some iPhones or iPads.

How long will the course take and what support do I receive?

Most students are able to complete the course within approximately 14 hours of study however it depends how quickly you learn as an individual and the number of hours a day you are able to spend on it. You will have access to email support from fully qualified therapists and tutors.
