About this course
Six months minimum in a school either as a volunteer or employed. (minimum of one morning a week, but while studying on this course, students must be a volunteer or employed two mornings per week)

Summary
An NVQ assesses a persons competence (the skills, knowledge and understanding they have) in a work situation. Based on national occupational standards.
About the Course
Students attend every week for the first four weeks, then fortnightly thereafter.
Students must demonstrate that they have the skills, knowledge and understanding detailed in the NVQ units of competence.
There are five mandatory units that each students must achieve. In addition, each student is required to achieve two optional units out of a choice of twelve.
