This module continues to develop and deepen your practice and applied theoretical understanding of the application of systemic theories of change and development to practice. This marks the beginning of live supervised clinical practice.
About this course
On completion of this course you should be able to:
Demonstrate an ability to compare and contrast different approaches in systemic therapy and their relationship with other therapies and theories of change.
Demonstrate an ability to elaborate and critically evaluate a range of theoretical frameworks in relation to practice.
Critically reflect, analyse and synthesis the construction of knowledge, research design and the application of research in applied psychotherapeutic contexts.

University Advanced Diploma Systemic Thinking and Practice or other equivalent AFT accredited Foundation level systemic training
A practice base in which to apply the ideas
An ability to study at degree level

About this module
The purpose of the module is to equip you with the knowledge, skills and professional conduct to develop competency to practice as an autonomous systemic practitioner and to broaden the focus to incorporate an understanding of the nature of research evidence and knowledge, research methods, ethics and legal frameworks and other professional areas that are essential for competent professional practice and lifelong learning within a psychotherapeutic context.
You will be invited to consider their learning from a personal and professional development perspective throughout.
