TAQA Assessment Qualification

These qualifications are for staff that are working in, or looking to gain entry to, roles in Assessment and Internal Quality Assurance. They have been developed by LLUK to replace the Assessor and Verifier Units which expire on 31 December 2010.

The new units and qualifications will provide people who carry out assessment and internal quality assurance roles in their organisation with the opportunity to develop and improve their practice as well as achieving a professional qualification for the role

Four Assessor Awards Available:

• Level 3 Award in understanding the principles and Practices of Assessment
• Level 3 Award in assessing competence in the work environment
• Level 3 Award in assessing vocationally related achievement
• Level 3 Certificate in assessing vocational achievement
