Who is the course for?
These NVQs are designed for teaching assistants who support the learning process by working alongside teachers in classrooms.
It is suitable for candidates who:
* Provide support for learning activities
* Assist in the care and support of pupils
* Report on pupil performance
* Support the use of ICT in the classroom

What is the course about?
To achieve a Level 3 NVQ for Teaching Assistants, a candidate must complete four mandatory units and six optional units from a choice of nineteen.

Will I need anything else?
LSC funded subject to status and locality with course fees of 550.
How long & often do I attend?
Start Date : throughout the year through a contract with local authority.

How will I be assessed?
A Riverside College Halton assessor visits your place of work on a regular basis to support and conduct work based assessments.
