This workshop will give you a wealth of information to enable you to work confidently & competently to support cancer patients and their family/carers.
You will learn about different cancers, how cancer affects the body and people, Health & Safety, benefits, contra-indications, how we can help as a therapist and how to adapt techniques. It is designed to help give you a better understanding when working with people who are living with this condition.
We deliver professional qualifications in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. All our tutors are working therapists each with over 25 years in the industry and a wealth of relevant experience and practical knowledge.
Your training group will be small, usually no more than 4 students, to ensure maximum individual attention.

I have worked within this industry for 14 years plus teaching for 10 of them, through a number of colleges and private training facilities before opening my own training centre 5 years ago. I still retain a very active client base which I consider to be of great importance to enable me to deliver relevant, practical, hands-on training.

You will discuss how to integrate this therapy into your own working practice and also taking it into a medical environment.
Training starts at 10am, finish time can vary depending on how may are on the course but would normally be 5pm. Lunch is not provided but there are light refreshments available throughout the day. We just require you to bring three large towels/covers, everything else for your training day will be provided.
Payment can be made by cash at the centre or directly into our account anytime up to 14 days before you attend for training.
