The TQUK Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People (QCF) qualification is suitable for learners working, or wishing to work, with children and young people supporting Child Protection. This includes those in voluntary or unpaid positions. Such positions would be a Teaching Assistant, Teacher, Nursery Assistant, Care Worker etc.
The qualification covers how to safeguard and protect children, young people and practitioners in the workplace as well as how to respond to evidence or concerns that a child or young person has been abused.
Child protection is paramount in all environments working with children.

Anyone working with Children and Young People across ALL sectors.
Our TQUK Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People (QCF) qualification is openly available to anyone working with children and young adults. It is a requirement for you to understand the safeguarding policies when working directly with childrena nd young adults.
Learners will need sufficient numeracy and literacy
Students should have access to a computer and the internet throughout your study period.
Learners should have basic PC skills in order to navigate our Support Portal
You should be fully committed to your studies.
Must be aged 16 and over
All courses are subject to a certification fee upon successful completion and for this qualification the fee will be £35.00
