Description
The Train the Trainer (TtT) course aims to develop the knowledge and skills of staff who take on the role of trainer in their day to day jobs (on a full time, part time or ad hoc basis as part of their role). The two day workshop covers key skills and techniques involved in effective training, in particular, increasing their range of skills to engage participants, manage groups and respond to difficult situations.

- Identify how you can modify training materials to meet your personal style and the needs of diverse groups and different learning styles
- Demonstrate effective training techniques, having practised and received practical and relevant feedback on your training skills during the course
- Believe that advance preparation ( course content, processes, climate and physical aspects) will make for more effective training sessions
- Have considered how you will evaluate your training (ie impact on individual learning, job and organisation performance)
- Feel more confident about running a training session as part of your role
