What will I learn?
There are 12 units to this course and they cover a wide range of themes and issues including: UK Visitor Destinations, Transport for Tourism, Team Work in Travel and Tourism, Investigating Tourism Provision, Promotion of Travel and Tourism, Skills for Working in Travel and Tourism. Communication Skills in Travel and Tourism. It is a practical, work related course where you will learn by completing research projects and assignments based on a realistic workplace situation. You will develop Key Skills in Communication and IT.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through the successful production of assignments of each unit studied. The assigments require individual and/or small group research and independent portfolio production. The assignments are internally marked and externally moderated by OCR. Assignments are graded Pass, Merit or Distinction.

What could I do next?
You could progress to a Level 2 course, employment or futher training in the travel and tourism industries.
