The College Diploma in Travel Services comprises of a set of recognised qualifications that will enable you to become familiar with different aspects of travel and tourism, and will ensure you have the up-to-date skills required by service providers in the travel industry today. The course consists of core qualifications and a chosen pathway for their career of your choice.


Travel Services NCFE Certificate Level 3

This qualification is a technical certificate with core units including: Worldwide Travel and Tourism Destinations, Special Interest Holidays, and Independent Travel.


Spanish Edexcel Entry Level 3

This is an introductory programme for students who are new to the language. Many employers within the tourism industry select employees who hold a qualification in a modern foreign language.


In addition to the above you will choose a pathway most suited to your career aspirations.


Pathway 1: Introduction to Cabin Crew NCFE Level 2

Designed for learners who would like to work as a cabin crew, it gives a true insight into all roles and responsibilities as a member of the crew.


Pathway 2: Resort Representatives NCFE Award Level 2

This qualification is endorsed by Thomas Cook, who will guarantee interviews to students that have successfully completed the course and have demonstrated excellent communication and learning skills at the company’s pre-screening test.


BTEC Customer Service Level 2


This qualification will give you the skills to effectively communicate with customers at a variety of levels within the travel and tourism sector.




Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs (grades A*-C) including English and maths, or satisfactory results in a relevant Level 2 qualification and appropriate English and maths qualifications, and an interview.


Career Opportunities

Course Progression

Students who already have appropriate academic qualifications could progress to higher education courses within leisure, hospitality, or business.

Applying for a Full-Time course


Our term starts the week commencing 5th September 2016,
however you may have different start dates depending on the course.
You will receive the details of your first day over the summer period,
