You will get the opportunity to gain additional qualifications such as British Airways Fares and Ticketing, a speaking and listening qualification in a foreign language (normally Spanish) and specialist training in airport passenger ground handling, delivered by Servisair Globeground with whom the College has built a close working relationship.
Special Features
- Students will join a three day residential visit to Derbyshire as part of their induction onto the first year of the course in order to get to know their fellow students and tutors in an informal and fun environment!
- Exciting residential trips to overseas resort areas are also arranged and previous students have enjoyed visits to such destinations as Paris, Brussels, Euro Disney, Amsterdam, Cyprus and Toronto. In addition, visits to UK sites such as Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Park, Stratford-upon-Avon, Peak District National Park, the London Eye, and Heathrow Airport are used to acquaint students with the environment in which they may consider working and to support them with their course work.
What Next?
On successful completion you may progress on to the BA (Hons) degree programme via the HND or Foundation Degree courses in Travel & Tourism Management or Events Management at Loughborough. An alternative is to gain employment in the industry
