This five-day course will cover the treatment of eating disorders in the child, adolescent and adult age ranges.
You'll learn about therapeutic approaches including:
individual assessment and therapy
family approaches
inpatient, outpatient and day patient approaches
inpatient refeeding in severely malnourished patients
You'll also learn about the development of eating disorder services and management of severe and enduring eating disorders (SEED).
The aim is to help you prepare for a career in the eating disorders field.
You'll gain a certificate of attendance at the end of the course provided you've attended 80% of it.
This course is run but UCL's Division of Medicine. It is part of the MSc in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition but can also be taken as a standalone CPD module.

About this course
This course is suitable for trainees and staff working in eating disorders services.
You'll need both the following:
a university degree
a qualification in a mental health profession
You should also be working, or training, in a service that accepts patients with eating disorders.
