About this course

The course objectives are to understand the theory and practice of applying a therapeutic foot massage. After completing case studies, you will be qualified to practice this therapy.

This course is intended for anyone who is a qualified Massage therapist, Reflexologist or Aromatherapist.

Massage Qualification

School Certificate, after completing case studies, which is recognised by all major insurers and Professional Associations.

Therapy Training Centre was developed after it was discovered that there was a lack of expert training in the area, leading to recognised qualifications in Training Courses in Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Human Anatomy and membership of recognised professional bodies in the therapies offered, and therefore is responding to the need for high quality training in the Yorkshire area.

The Centre offers an open and caring atmosphere, which engenders feelings of enjoyment in learning, and an awareness of self-development and aims to provide programmes of extensive practical and theoretical studies in each of the courses offered.

Therapy Training Centre provides accredited courses of Aromatherapy and Allied Practitioners' Association (A.A.P.A.), who accredit the Anatomy and Physiology, Massage, Reflexology and Aromatherapy courses. The Centre’s status allows its graduate members of the AAPA to register with the CNHC as the AAPA is recognised by the CNHC for the verification of aromatherapy, reflexology and massage.

The Centre also offers a comprehensive range of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses.

The day begins with an overview of the course and a section on skeletal and muscular anatomy of the legs and feet.

The routine, which lasts approximately an hour, begins with a foot cleanse, the client will then receive a foot scrub followed by a hydrating foot cream which employs the use of hot flannels. A refreshing foot mask is then applied which will be cleansed with hot flannels.

This is followed by a foot massage using a blend of Eastern and Western techniques, with pure pre-blended foot oil which contains essential oils and a final refreshing and invigorating foot gel.

This is the ultimate foot experience.

This is followed by a foot massage using a blend of Eastern and Western techniques, with pure pre-blended foot oil which contains essential oils and a final refreshing and invigorating foot gel.

This is the ultimate foot experience.

I have completed 4 of Sue Lincoln’s courses / workshops (A&P, Clinical Aromatherapy and Natural face lift, Product making) and I am now embarking on Clinical Reflexology, Reiki 1 and Advanced Massage Techniques. Sue is a thorough and methodical teacher with excellent subject knowledge. She delivers her courses with enthusiasm and generously shares her knowledge and experience with her students. I am employed in education, and I cannot under estimate the time and dedication that Sue gives to all of her classes. Her teaching style is professional, yet human, fully addressing and understanding the individual needs of her learner’s. What I have gained from the course is the way Sue tailors the course tuition to your individual needs or interest. She is genuinely interested in you as an individual and whenever possible she will go in to deep detail about the subject matter (something you will never gain from a typical commercial therapy training provider). All of the course notes and materials that Sue provides are in depth and of a high quality. I have found each course empowering and excellent value for money (otherwise I would have never enrolled on further courses).
