To enable you to develop and integrate the underpinning theory and practice to prepare you as a registered health professional to prescribe safely, appropriately and cost effectively under the professional regulations pertaining to the appropriate drug formulary.

# Undergraduate part-time fees for 50% rate of study
Applicants must either be a Level 1 Registered Nurse or a Registered Midwife.
Applicants must be supported by an NHS Trust or equivalent employer.
The minimum academic entry requirement is at level 6, so students need to provide evidence of ability to study at degree level (in any subject). Recognition of prior learning (RPL) will be considered on an individual basis as per the University’s RPL guidance.
Students will be required to undertake a DBS check which is arranged by the sponsoring or seconding organisation. This will be checked by university tutors during admission and recruitment process.

Financial Hardship:
Students can apply to the Dennis Turner Opportunity Fund for help with course related costs however this cannot be used for fees or to cover general living costs.
