What I would highlight: It was a remarkable experience and made it possible for me to pursue a phd career. It was quite expensive but still affordable. I advise having some own savings before arriving there, so you can travel a lot to nearby countries.
What could be improved: No complaints.

BA American and English Literature

Former Student

What I would highlight: I enjoyed a lot that I could focus on American Literature here. They have such a wide range of modules on every aspect of the subject which makes it much easier to tailor the course to individual preferences. The seminar leaders are very easy to talk to. Even though there are only 6 hours of teaching every week, the reading requirements definitely keep you busy.

What I would highlight: The people are great, the uni is excellent and the overall city is a good place to live. I don't go out but most people I've met so far are active. Out of 10 its probably been 8.5/10. I think it's been much better than I thought.

BA International Development with Politics with a Year Abroad

What I would highlight: Norwich, a small quaint town but it has so much to offer. The university is located 15 minutes by bus away from town, not too far away if you need to do some shopping! I lived on campus at the University Village, a 8 minute walk from central campus, it's an ensuite and cosy for one. Now, let's talk more about classes. It's currently my second month here at UEA and I can say that I'm enjoying everything. The lecturers here are interactive yet interesting, your tutor is the best go-to person to go to when you face any sort of difficulty and everyone around you makes you feel at home. For my course in particular, every week there'll be a seminar by a field expert to give a seminar about a topic, it provides really good insights to what is happening to the outside world at this very moment. All in all, UEA has met all my expectations and there's no regret to this decision. If you do have any question, on certain aspect of university life, please do drop me an email and I'll be happy to provide you with my opinion!
