What will you be learning?
This course enables you to progress towards working in the motor vehicle industry. This course aims to develop both practical skills and technical knowledge and covers: Working safely and effectively; foundation skills; light vehicle construction and routine maintenance; operating principles of light vehicle engines, tyres, brakes, steering and suspension systems; operating principles and maintenance of transmission systems and electrical and electronic systems.

What happens when you have finished?
After you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto the Certificate in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI) Level 2.
