Course Description
This course will prepare you with the skills and knowledge to be employed as a verifier of NVQ Candidates. In a series of 3 x 6 hour workshops, you will learn to understand the policies and processes involved in quality assurance (verification).After the first four workshops, you will be attached to an assessor/tutor to gather evidence for the award.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs at Grade C or above in appropriate subjects and at least two A Levels. or GNVQ Advanced or National Diploma or similar.

Modules Studied:

• Monitor the quality of Assessor's performance
• Operate and evaluate internal assessment and quality assurance systems
• Support Assessors
• Meet external quality assurance requirements

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: The course is assessed through the building of a Portfolio, professional discussion and observation. You will gain skills and knowledge in supporting assessors, and monitoring assessment decisions.

Progression Routes: Barrister's Clerk, Bursar, Clerical Assistant, Court Reporter, Data Entry Clerk, Human Resources Officer, Legal Secretary, Medical Secretary, Office Manager, Paralegal, Payroll Administrator and Personal Assistant.
