Study Method:
Practical and theory sessions timetabled on alternate weeks.
Monday evenings 3 hours per week, 6 - 9 p.m. or
Fridays 9.30-12.30, 3 hours per week
Duration :36 weeks
Who the Course is For:
For those who wish to gain a professional qualification that will enable them to gain employment or set up as an independent nail technician.
Assessment:
As assessed (timed) treatment will need to be successfully achieved plus a written theory test in order to gain the full Certificate.
Part I - Manicure
Part 2 - Nail Technology (Acrylic)
Course Leads To:
A Level II Certificate in Nail Technology enabling the student to work professionally as a nail technician.
Entry Requirements:
No formal entry requirements but a good level of written English is necessary. All applicants will be interviewed prior to being offered a place.
Content:
The training focuses on the application of gel extensions using NSI/Star products. Subjects covered are Professional Ethics, Hygiene and Sterilisation, Nail Tip Application and Safe Blending, Client Care, Business Studies, Safe Nail Product Removal.
