About this course

To attain a sound knowledge of massage to enable you to become a competent professional therapist.
To set the base for moving onto more advanced techniques and massage based therapies.

Anyone who has an interest in bodywork to achieve positive results across many different areas - physical, psychological & emotional.

There are no special requirements for this qualification. Everything you need will be covered within the course structure.

Small training groups of between 2 and 4 students per group.
This enables lots of individual attention.

I have worked within this industry for 14 years plus teaching for 10 of them, through a number of colleges and private training facilities before opening my own training centre 5 years ago. I still retain a very active client base which I consider to be of great importance to enable me to deliver relevant, practical, hands-on training.

VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage

This practitioner level qualification is an important foundation course that forms the basis of a number of other qualifications.

Course Content

Relevant Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology, Principles & Practice of Complementary Therapies, Massage techniques, Benefits & effects, Contra indications & contra actions, Consultation & record keeping, Client care & after-care advice, Health, Safety & Hygiene, Case studies, Supported home study

Entry Requirements:- There are no specific requirements for this course

Training is a combination of 5 days at the centre and guided home study, that is supported throughout, before returning for final assessments. These are not pass or fail qualifications but working towards competency and can be completed at your own pace around your commitments.

We can supply your oils/equipment at very reasonable prices. Please ask for details.

Training starts at 10am and finishes around 5pm. Lunch is not provided but there are light refreshments available throughout the day. We just require you to bring your own linen for practical work, everything else for your training days will be provided.

£100 deposit secures your place.

The balance can be made by cash or direct payment up to 14 days before training starts. Payment terms can be arranged.


Training courses are arranged as required and we have new groups starting regularly throughout the year.

We deliver professional qualifications in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. All our tutors are working therapists with a wealth of relevant experience and practical knowledge.

Training groups are small, no more than 4 students, to ensure maximum individual attention.

Places can fill up quickly so if you are interested in attending let us know. We can pencil you in which doesn't commit you to anything but will give you first refusal in the event we’re over subscribed.
