Course Overview
This course is designed for anyone with an interest in learning about the world of wines. It will provide a basic introduction to various styles of wines for Front of House Staff or people who serve and or sell wines. It also suits people who are just intrigued with wines in general.
Course Structure
This is a 4 weeks course with attendance on Mondays, 6.00pm 8.30pm in the Pegwell Building. Initially students should meet in the Pegwell reception.
The course will cover basic product knowledge including the techniques of wine service.
Qualification Aims
To gain a Wine and Spirits related qualification that can be used to progress onto a Level 2 course or to provide a certificate in relation to other prior knowledge.
