Course Overview
The Intermediate qualification is designed to expand the basic knowledge by covering a more in-depth range of alcoholic beverages and perfecting tasting techniques.

Course Structure
The courses run for 8 weeks with the first running on Tuesdays. The second course will run on Thursdays 2.00pm 5.00pm in the Pegwell Building. Initially students should meet in the Pegwell reception.

The course will cover a higher standard of product knowledge including the techniques of tasting and wine service.

Qualification Aims
To provide the student with a good knowledge of Wines and Spirits for use within a catering workplace and/or progression onto the level 3 qualification.
