Description
Welcome to Woodhouse CollegeFrom the Principal - Keith MurdochWe are a small Sixth Form College situated in Barnet, North London, providing full-time education for students aged 16-19 years. As part of the Further Education sector we are directly funded by the Government and open to application from anyone who lives within travelling distance. We see ourselves as a local community college, particularly in our relationship with our two Partner Schools - The Compton and Friern Barnet - whose students get priority of entry, and occupy approximately one quarter of our places. In many ways the College is a special place. With just under 1100 students, we maintain a supportive, friendly atmosphere where people know each other and operate in a climate of mutual respect. There is a strong emphasis on self-discipline and old-fashioned courtesy. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, and we celebrate the diversity of different minority ethnic origins.
