About the course : This course is for Youth Workers in a variety of settings. Participants will further develop workplace skills relating to national occupational standards and their job role. Applicants with substantial voluntary experience will also be considered.

Mandatory Units :
Establish relationships and maintain dialogue with young people.
Work as an effective and reflective partner.
Work in ways that promote equality of opportunity, participation and responsibility.
Work with young people to safeguard their welfare.

Optional Units :
There will be a range of optional units to choose from.

Entry requirements
After this course : Employees can develop their roles and responsibilities at work and progress onto a NVQ Level 3 Qualification.

Cost : This course is offered under the Train to Gain programme and is free to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria for the Train to Gain programme.
