Adult Singing – Level 2

Level 2 continues the journey of discovering your voice and all that it can do!

The emphasis with this level is harmony singing.

This Level has a women's choir (locally known as The Descant Housewives) taught by Jo Noel-Hartley and a Mens Choir, taught by Steve Dula.

The 2 choirs train separately AND together.

Harmony singing requires great skill: to learn to listen in a new way, blending, tonal changes, heightened vocal technique, memory work, focusing on your harmony line, more complex rhythm's, the ability to move and sing for performances.

Song choices are always well known popular songs.

Level 2 singers/choirs have won festivals and awards in the past, as well as the Descant Housewives recording an album of songs for Charity, so the quality is very high, and audiences love us!

Day:

• Thursdays – Women (7.30pm - 9.30pm)
• Saturdays – Men (5pm - 6pm)
