To achieve the Apprenticeship you will need to complete a number of
qualifications including the NVQ Level 2 in Coaching, Teaching and
Instructing, technical certificates (these include National Governing
Bodies coaching qualifications) and Functional Skills*.
The topics you will study include:
· Deal with accidents and emergencies
· Plan and prepare a series of coaching sessions
· Maintain an environment in which participants can improve their
performance
· Evaluate coaching sessions and develop personal coaching practice
· Support the protection of children from abuse.
How will I be assessed?
Assessments are carried out through practical skills tests, observations of you working and completed assignments, projects and case studies. A personal assessor will make regular visits to your workplace to carry out reviews of your progress and to ensure that you are on target to gain your qualifications.
How long will it take?
The time taken for you to achieve your apprenticeship will depend on how well you get on at work, but most of all it will depend on your own
commitment and motivation to complete your training.
