Additional information
If others can't see who you truly are, they won’t know how you want to be treated. But they will react well to your saying what you want and may even start looking to you for your opinion and advice.
Assertiveness is easy to learn, and the more you practise, the easier it gets. It doesn't involve aggression, manipulation, backing down or giving in, but it will create positive responses from other people, relieve any stress you may be feeling about not being able to speak out, and it will make you feel good about yourself.
This course will help you create self-esteem and the self-confidence to speak out, voice your opinion, say No or Yes when you want to, and express yourself clearly. In the process, you will become more confident, feel less suppressed, and this will lead to a deep sense of peace of mind and well-being.
