What's it all about?:
If you are interested in business, retail and administration but not sure which route to follow then this course is for you. You will learn about how businesses are run and also start to improve the skills that will enable you to get a job in a retail or business environment, or progress to a higher level course.
Progression:
Upon successful completion you may progress directly into the workplace or onto a level 2 course at the College.

What does the course involve?:
This course consists of eight units - three compulsory core units, two personal skills units and three optional units.
The compulsory core units include:
• core unit 1 - starting work in business, retail and administration
• core unit 2 - working in business, retail and administration
• core unit 3 - introducing customer service.

Are there any exams?:
Assessment includes the completion of a portfolio of assignments.
