The award of the Passport is subject to the candidate successfully completing a 100 question multiple choice test paper. The passport is supported by the Health and Safety executive and is valid for three years. An additional days training is required for Supervisors which will emphasise the key role that supervisors have in securing health and safety communications and risk. Course Aims:
The aim is to ensure a basic knowledge of health and safety for all site personnel to enable them, after appropriate site induction, to work on site more safely and with lower risk to themselves and others.
Brief Course Content:
- Introduction to Health and Safety Law and Permits to work
- Safe working practices and Scaffolding
- Safe access and egress
- Accident and First aid procedures
- Fire precautions and procedures
- COSHH and personal protective equipment
- Manual handling

- Working with cranes and heavy equipment
