Summary: This course is an ideal route for those who wish to follow a career in the restaurant service.








Course description: This programme is very much hands-on. Your supervisory skills will be developed as you supervise level one and two students in one of our three restaurants, as well as working and developing your skills in customer service on the hotel, hair and beauty schools reception desk. Not only will you develop your skills in supervising people, you will gain more knowledge about wines and spirits, team leadership and supervisory skills.
As a supervisor you will have the opportunity to develop people and coaching skills, all of which are very important in this busy and dynamic industry.









Entry requirements: Applicants should have successfully completed an appropriate level 2 qualification. Students are also encouraged to be undertaking part time employment in hospitality .The minimum age to join this course is 18.









Objective: There are great opportunities for supervisors with well-developed skills and knowledge.









Academic progression: We offer the Foundation Degree in Hospitality Management here at City College Norwich, which can be topped up to a full BA (Hons) in Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Management degree.









Career progression: Successful students could consider moving into industry or onto a advanced apprenticeship with an employer.
