Course Content
Aims and Objectives
This qualification aims to:
·Introduce learners to the use of counselling skills in everyday life and work and some of the approaches that underpin the use of these skills.

The objectives of the qualification are to help you:

·Develop counselling skills.
·Understand the different approaches involved in the use of counselling skills.
·Understand the different contexts and situations where counselling skills are used.
·Appreciate the importance of self development.

How will I be assessed?
Continuous assessment of skills. Internally assessd portfolio. Externally set and assessed assignment.
What can I do next?
Progression to the next stage is not automatic but will be decided by two interviews.
