Intensive professional diploma courses These are run on 5 consecutive Sunday from 10 - 4.30. Although beginners are more than welcome, due to the intensive nature of the course we recommend that you have some experience of cake decorating and suggest that you have attended courses such as the piping skills, Christmas cake course or the back to basics. You will need to do some preparation/ practice at home. you will learn... Basic Techniques. Coating, Template and Scroll Borders. Runout/Colourflow, Collars and Motifs. Extension Borders and Lace Designs. Brush Embroidery. Cake Balance and Multi Tiered Cakes. Packaging, Transport, and Delivery Costs. Pricing Guidlines. Assembly & Presentation. Cost includes a batch of royal icing, 2 cake dummies and boards that you will need in week 1)
