'Shi Kon International was founded by Steve Rowe 8th Dan in 1988 as an international 'friendship' association to further the ethos of traditional martial arts training and to help and support each individual to become the best that they can.'* To this end, Shi Kon arrange top level seminars and tournaments in the UK and abroad with top level instructors. Each year there is a Summer Camp at Jizerka in the mountains in the Czech Republic, 2009 will the the 19th year of the Camp.* Shi Kon have dedicated full time Centres in Chatham in the UK, Jablonec in the Czech Republic and Aalborg in Denmark.* For continued progression for club instructors, Shi Kon have a Technical Committee with access to very high grades in all martial arts.* For tournaments, Shi Kon are registered with the World Union of Karate Federations* To get the best insurance possible, Shi Kon have arranged their own policy with Perkins Slade Ltd, the largest insurer to governing bodies in sport in the UK....
