Course programme

The Viewpoints is a system for developing the performers awareness of Time and Space in performance. Developed for use in the Theatre by SITI company, New York, the Viewpoints isolates elements of performance and tunes the actor's awareness of the ensemble. It is a collaborative tool for directors and actors to develop a performance intuitively, using a shared creative vocabulary. The Voice work is based on the work of Kristen Linkater. it develops awareness of tension in the body which inhibits the naturally free voice. Using a combination of physical exercises and relaxation techniques, the pasrticipant will develop a greater awareness of how tension defeats the performer and what to do to address it.
