2. Course description If you are interested in how contemporary music is composed, produced and recorded, then you will be joining one of the fastest growing courses in the country. You will be using our industry-standard sound studio and digital audio work stations. Your teacher works in the industry in both a music capacity and as a producer in order to ensure his knowledge is current in this ever changing field.

Entry requirements You will be expected to have a minimum of five grades A*- C at GCSE, including two B grades and a minimum of a C grade in English Language, and no less than a grade D in Mathematics. A GCSE grade C or above in Music is required for this course, preferably combined with an ability to read music notation fluently (in both treble and bass clef). An understanding of music technology similar to the knowledge acquired on GCSE Music will be an advantage, along with proficiency (Grade 3 level or equivalent) on a musical instrument. 4.
