This course makes use of one of our larger painting studios with wall-style easels and table-space. You will learn how to relate small-scale studies to large-scale experimentation, plus practical techniques for colour-palette research and paint-preparation. The aim is to develop personal fluidity: advancing your ideas through the inventive use of painting tools and materials, with ongoing recourse to form and context. Includes lively group discussion of ideas and developments, plus regular individual tutoring.
