Are you interested in gaining a nationwide qualification in order to apply to universities and colleges to study a Public Service related degree such as Social Science? If you have not yet gained the mandatory qualifications necessary to entry to higher education, this course provided by The Distance Learning Centre is the perfect choice.
The centre has more than 20 years of experience providing Access Courses which are completely flexible. Therefore, the programme and subjects may vary on your needs, previous qualifications and objectives.
This course can lead to a career working in central or local government, the Armed Forces, Police, Fire Service, Health & Social Care, or the voluntary sector.
Training materials can be downloaded from the DLC webpage and personal tutors will provide advice through internet and phone calls. The course is flexible and has been especially designed to suit your needs, so you will decide its duration and when to study.

You need to have a UK residential address to study this qualification.
Although there are no formal entry requirements for this Access to HE Diploma, to meet university entry requirements you may need GCSEs or further credits at Level 2. If you do not have these already, you can study them with us.
