Course Overview
This is the first introduction to Gas Fitter training. It will introduce a learner to the basics of gas safety and allow the learner to work alongside a registered installer feeling they can be of benefit and have an understanding of what is being done and why. It will culminate in you taking the necessary assessments to gain CCN1 and MET1 status. These qualifications will allow you to apply for registration with the Gas Safe register and undertake pipework and meter exchange activities. At the end of this course, on successful completion, you may wish to consider taking add-on training to allow you to work on specific appliances such as , , and .
This Course is Ideal for...
Any aspiring gas fitter who wishes to gain ACS qualifications but who currently has no experience in the gas industry.
Entry Requirements
There are no pre-requisites for entry onto this course, although a basic understanding of plumbing principles may well be of an advantage.
Duration
Initial Training = 5 days £625 Inc. VAT
A candidate then has to create a portfolio of evidence in their own time.
Training & Assessment = 9 days £1220 Inc. VAT
