Action Learning Sets

Leaders and Managers in the Early Years & Childcare Workforce are being given the opportunity to take part in an Action Learning Set to support their continuing professional development as leaders or managers.

Cost: The first set will be fully funded by Bristol City Council.

What is an Action Learning Set?

A group of between six and eight people who meet to discuss issues that each are facing in their roles as managers, and work together in a supportive and collaborative way to find solutions.

Why would this be useful to me?

Action Learning Sets allow participants to:

• Learn from their peers in a supportive and collaborative way
• Feel less isolated in their role as leaders and managers
• Become more confident decisions makers
• Improve their communication skills
• Develop a network of support with other managers
